Calling All IoT Innovators! Enter the CHARIoT Challenge, hosted by NIST's Public Safety Communication Research (PSCR) division and its challenge partners. Help America's first responders, while winning cash awards to develop your prototypes, travel to key events and expand your network in the public safety community. Successful contestants will demo their prototypes on August 26 & 27 at IWCE 2020 and see their solutions used by the public safety community in live emergency scenarios during the final event. There will be $1,100,000 in prizes to be rewarded!
Build Augmented Reality: Design augmented interfaces to improve public safety communications.
Internet of Things Contest: Develop a data appliance capable of emulating smart city data streams for emergency scenarios.
Participants will determine the data which is most useful for first responders to successfully complete their tasks for provided scenarios. The ability to simulate and transmit information via emulators will create the required infrastructure for augmented reality solutions to provide actionable interfaces for first responders.
Register your team and submit your concept by May 6, 2020. https://www.chariotchallenge.com/?utm_source=Show-Highlights&utm_medium=IWCE2020-website&utm_campaign=IWCE2020&utm_term=Special-Events
